The steepest learning curve after CCM ends is business management. Simply doing a good Business Plan is not enough. There is so much you need to do to create a profitable business, so much to learn!

This talk will provide you with strategies to help you maintain balance in your life while you grow your business. I will share my experiences of what ‘paid off’ and what you should invest in and what things simply drained my energy, my time and my finances.

You will walk away with the 5 foundations of a successful clinical practice and how to work cooperatively within a team of practitioners for mutual benefit and best client outcomes.

2011 I graduated from CCM with a Dual Dip in Kin & MBM. I began practicing first from home, then with a naturopath in a small clinic in Wollongong. Then I moved out into my own premises – but working alone can be, well, lonely! After a year solo, the opportunity to purchase the largest wellness centre in Wollongong appeared, so I jumped at the opportunity and challenge. The Lotus Wellbeing Centre has 7 clinic rooms, a workshop room, 12 practitioners and is a vibrant hub of healing.

The past year of running a busy wellness centre while also maintaining my clinical practice and still finding time to be a Mum has been the most intense learning experience of my life!

I will be sharing with you things that “I wish I knew” – things that I now know to be incredibly valuable and utterly necessary in growing a business and working as part of a wellness team.

Please join me on August 22nd where you will be sure to walk away with strategies that you can implement within your own clinical practice to enhance business, increase profits and perhaps be inspired to build a business together with a team of practitioners; for there are so many benefits of working in a community of wellness advocates.
