"An exploration of the human experience of grief and loss"

David Starr

For those who have studied at the College of Complementary Medicine, you will understand ICMA's excitement at being able to announce David Starr's involvement as a guest presenter.

David will lead us through an exploration of the human experience of grief and loss.

During this session, this exploration will be done via symbology, image, experiencial meditation, and an academic reasoning.

A mainstream model is forwarded, which is now taught in the MBM counselling module. For those who haven't had the opportunity to experience this topic during their studies, regardless of the modality you work in, it is a must to attend.

The session aims to support practitioners when working with clients suffering grief and loss.

This ICMA talk will be very different to those attended in the past, with participants actively taking part in the session rather than the usual presentation and Q&A night.
